Grab a 17mm socket, a u-joint and a 12" extension and you will have this installed in 15 minutes. The fit and finish is excellent. The hitch gives plenty of room for the spare tire and wraps around both mufflers with room to spare. Very well designed.
You do not need to spend the extra money and have U-Haul or others install this for you. Any one with average ability can do it.
I use this for a bike rack so can not comment on the wiring for trailer lights that you may need.

Hate to be a copy cat but, grab a 17mm socket, a u-joint (you can also easily move the muffler to one side) and a 12" extension and you will have this installed in 15 minutes. The fit and finish is excellent. Even though the directions say make modifications to the heat shield, the hitch gives plenty of room for the spare tire and wraps around both mufflers with room to spare, no mods necessary on my install. Very well designed.
You do not need to spend the extra money and have U-Haul or others install this for you. Any one with average ability can do it.
I also ordered the wiring kit, it to is easy to hookup and is profesional all the way!
Also I could not find a cheeper price with free shipping anywhere!

Decided to order this hitch for my 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe because checked locally and product/installation price was well over $350. Great price and very quick delivery. This is a solid hitch sold elsewhere for much more. My husband said no problem to install it, but if you live in a northern climate and your vehicle is over a year old beware the pre-drilled holes in your frame might be a little "difficult" (aka rusty). Tried to install ourselves and found it tough to get the supplied bolts in. Called a local small hitch installation business and they put it on for me in 30 minutes (with the advantage of having a lift and pneumatic tools). Now I know it's properly installed and torqued to specifications! With the installation charge I still paid at least $150 less than what it would have cost me at a regular hitch installation business. One note--did not get a light/electrical hook-up because I'll be using a "basket" to transport a Honda scooter--not pulling a trailer. But Amazon sells the appropriate light kit that DOES NOT require any splicing (t-hookup to existing lighting), so you might consider that when you buy. Strongly recommend this product!
