This winch rated at 2000 lbs will not pull my quad up into my truck. I do not know why it seems too under powered for the 2000 lb rating I even kept the motor idling while I tried to load this in my truck and it powered down to a crawl. I tried to load it as an experiment after I installed it it would not pull it up the ramp 72" long )using single line so I used the snatch hook supplied with the winch supposed to double the strength it barely pulled it to the top of my tailgate. Forget using this to get you out of a muddy bog it is for looks only!

Not sure what to say.i installed this on my polaris 400HO. Boy was that fun... it functions properly and pulls the wheeler. haven't had to use it much. I mainly bought it to raise and lower a plow on the wheeler. Guess I'll find out how reliable it it soon.

This is a good winch but the gorilla winches on Ebay are far superior in quality and performance. I believe the company has changed their name but I still think it will pull up under gorilla winches. I have boought several winches for atvs and jeeps and you can't beat the gorillas. They are made almost the same as Warn but costs much less. Therefore you get the quality of a Warn but since it doesn't have "Warn" on it, you pay much less.
